The 1874 Sharps rifle is well known for long-range accuracy. The Long Range Target Rifle continues this legacy.
It is available with a heavy barrel starting at the #1 contour and going up to a #2 contour. Stocks are available in multiple configurations to suit the individual. Weights range from 10 1/2 pounds to North of 15 pounds. When considering this rifle for the NRA Black Powder Cartridge Rifle Silhouette competition please keep in mind that iron-sighted rifles have a maximum weight of 12.2 pounds with sights attached and scope sighted rifles have a maximum weight of 15 pounds with scope attached.
